The
AudioStrobeŽ decoder circuit included in the Sirius
and Proteus systems detects a special, inaudible signal
encoded on compact discs. This signal drives the LightFrames directly,
allowing precise synchronization between the audio and the light show.
AudioStrobe
was developed by Andrzej Slawinski of AudioStrobe
GMBH, Germany.
Here's
a collection of sample file excerpts taken from the five
AudioStrobe CD's we currently offer. These files are encoded as variable
bit-rate, 128 khz MP3 files, and so probably do not include much of the actual
AudioStrobe encoding (which is in the high frequency band).
Download by right clicking on
the title name and choosing "save target as" or you can play them by left
