Side One: Self-Hypnosis
How They Work
Each of my cassette/CD is designed to stimulate and teach
you how to use more of your mind. It is your subconscious mind that is the
real power center of your being. Your subconscious is the seat of memory, the
monitor of all bodily processes. It regulates your heart, plays chemist for
your digestive system, and analyzes input from your senses like an ultra
sophisticated computer - which it is.
Your subconscious will accept and bring into reality any
suggestion presented to it. When the suggestions are positive and accompanied
with visual imagery - the results are truly amazing.
How they are used at bedtime
Each of my programs is designed to be used at your regular
bedtime. Each program has a series of suggestions to bring about a pleasant
state of relaxation. Playing the program at your regular bedtime will cause
you to drift off into a deep, natural, and restful sleep. Because your
subconscious mind never sleeps, it will accept suggestions for change better
without the interference from your conscious mind. Repeated playing for 30
days will saturate your mind with positive suggestions that are designed to
bring about the changes you desire.
How they are used during the day
To bring the message to your conscious or awakening mind, I
suggest you play the program two or more times per week, when you can sit
comfortably in a chair and listen to the entire message. Listening to the
program during the day will allow you to consciously experience the pleasant
sensations of self-hypnosis. You will find yourself floating into a dreamy
state of mind, much like twilight sleep, or daydreaming. During these times,
your conscious mind will become aware of the same message as your
subconscious. When your conscious and subconscious both believe the same
message, changes happen easily, effortlessly, and automatically.
The Subliminal Version
How Subliminal Persuasion Changes Your Life!
Let's face it. Given your hectic life style it is unlikely
that you will take time during the day to play a hypnosis program. That is
why in l979 I created the first commercial subliminal tapes.
Subliminal recordings were made possible only by the
invention of motion pictures and sound recordings. I first became aware of
subliminal technology and its power to change people while reading Vance
Packard's book "The Hidden Persuaders," as part of my advance marketing class
at the University of Kentucky. The book tells the story of what happened when
the words "popcorn" and "drink Coke" were inserted into single frames of
motion picture film. At 25 frames per second, the messages popped on the
screen so briefly they were not even seen by the conscious mind. But, the
subconscious mind picked them up. By the time they had flashed on the screen
about two dozen times, the impressions they had made on the subconscious
caused that part of the mind to send an urgent message to the appetite, "You
are hungry for popcorn." Before the film was over, most of the audience was
munching happily on popcorn and drinking Coke; they had had no intention of
buying!
The fact that subliminal suggestions can reach the
subconscious through audio - as well as through visual stimulation - is a
much more recent discovery. As far as I know, it was first tried in a
Bulgarian school, where it was used to enhance the foreign language vocabulary
and increase the mathematical ability of the students.
Each of my programs has a subliminal version. Not only does
this make daytime playing much more convenient for you, you may also find them
much more effective if you tend to be analytical or critical in your thinking.
How I make a Subliminal recording
To create a subliminal recording, I first write and than
record the hypnosis version. The hypnotic version is then edited, removing all
introductory remarks, visualizations, and relaxation suggestions, leaving only
the suggestions for change. These are generally the last 20 minutes of my
hypnotic programs. These suggestions are than blended with music to create the
subliminal version. This process insures that not only do you know what is
being suggested, you know what the suggestions sound like.
When to use Subliminal recordings
The best time to use subliminal recordings is as background
for any activity you choose. The more often you use them, the more effective
they can be.

Guarantee
With few exceptions, it takes less than 30 days to make a
change in your life. If, after 30 days of using a program, you have not made
the change you desire, return the program for a full refund. Some tapes like
Natural Bust Enlargement, Improving your Vision and Hearing Loss Restored will
take longer than 30 days for a complete change. If more time is required, the
tape will say so. But you will still experience some difference after 30 days
of use.
Tape breakage
If a cassette breaks before it should, return it for a

AND WELCOME, I HAVE BEEN USING BARRIE K TAPES AND NOW I AM USING THE CDs, I

TO WRITE AND TELL YOU WHAT A DIFFERENCE YOUR TAPES HAVE MADE IN MY LIFE. I
HAVE USED AT LEAST 4 OF THEM, BUT MY FAVORITE ONES ARE "UP FROM DEPRESSION",
AND "RELIEVE STRESS AND ANXIETY." I HAVE TO TELL YOU A STORY ABOUT THE STRESS
ONE. TEN YEARS AGO I WAS GOING THRU A DIVORCE AFTER 23 YEARS OF MARRIAGE, TO
SAY THE LEAST, IT WAS A TERRIBLE TIME FOR ME. I EVEN TRIED TO KILL MYSELF.
WELL YOUR TAPES WERE RECOMMENDED TO ME BY MY "HEAD" DR. AFTER USING THEM FOR
ABOUT 2 WEEKS, I COULD REALLY TELL A DIFFERENCE. BUT I GOT IN TROUBLE USING

I want to thank you personally for your product. 11 years ago I joined the Air
Force at the age of 18. When I went to my technical training (9 month school)
after boot camp, I was a nervous wreck. My first couple months I struggled
tremendously with my classes, then I ran across one of your audio tapes for
memory improvement at the local mall book store. I was skeptical at first, but
decided to give it a try. After trying it out, I noticed some improvements,
and purchased another tape on concentration. I went from barely getting by to
100% on every test for my remaining 6 months I was there. I wanted to let you

I am glad that I am getting this opportunity to contact you. I am a complete
believer in your products and the power of self-hypnosis. Allow me to briefly
explain my success with your product. Back in around 1984, my mother purchased
a self-hypnosis cassette for my father. He claims that he had used it one time
and had quit smoking cold-turkey. The tape was lying around the house and I
had decided to try it out for positive influence upon my baseball abilities. I
was a sophomore in high school at the time and I started listening to one of
your tapes every evening before I went to bed during baseball season. At the
time, I was a pretty decent baseball player, but, never an outstanding hitter.
That season, out of the blue, I hit .549. It seems to me during that period of
time, I came to the plate with a clear mind and felt like I was going to hit
the ball every time that I had stepped into the box. The following season. I
went into a complete slump. I batted .286 for the season. I did not use the
self-hypnosis cassettes. My senior year (1987), I started the season batting
1-19. My coach was down and me and I was down on my self. It popped into my
head that I should try using the self hypnosis cassettes again. I ended up
batting .526 for the rest of the season. In fact, my final batting average was
an even .400 for the season. This was the precise goal I had suggested for
myself. My freshman year of college, I lent the tape to a friend who was a
punter for Akron University (OH). That season, he was the sixth rated punter
in the nation. He had also lost the tape. I would like to get my fingers back
on the duplicate cassette. I still have the cassette case and sleeve.
Possibly, if I could send these to you, I could re-purchase this tool that I
had found to be very valuable. Currently, I am an engineer. I would like to
use your products again to help me with my creative thinking abilities.

Barrie! I am sort of amazed to be speaking with you, as your tapes have made a
big impact in my life. I don't want to sound like I am Glamorizing them, but
in my case, they just hit the spot. When I was 13 I went and lived with my
brother for a semester of school. I was having problems at home, and everyone
agreed that it was a good idea. So, as time went on I developed into what you
might call a hippie. Long hair, I loved the Grateful Dead, and music was a big
part of my life. Anyway, I was extremely interested in the metaphysical. I got
books from the library, and talked about it with anyone I could. Come to find
out, my brother was somewhat interested in some similar things. He and his
girlfriend did Yoga, and then, I found his collection of your tapes! I began
using your tapes; he had most of them. I must have been very susceptible to
hypnosis, because I began to reach very deep, relaxed states. So, by this time
I was involved with drugs and alcohol pretty hard, and to make a long story
short, addiction occupied my life for about two years. After a life crisis
experience everything turned around, and I got sober, and have been sober ever
since. (I'm 23 now) So, now I am just about done with college, majoring in Art
Education. I work as a webmaster, and have pursued many arts in school such
as, multimedia, web, video, and audio. The thing is, is that I have a deep
craving to use technology to assist others in their spirituality. I can "feel"
this deep longing, but I haven't figured out exactly what it is supposed to
be. Within the last year or so I've thought it would be some kind of audio
like yours. I am working with some different audio technologies, but haven't
figured out exactly what I want to do. So, that’s my story. I'm exited to get
your new higher self CD, and the chakra one is my favorite, so I want it on CD

I bought your stop smoking tape many years ago and
never used it. Then in March of 1998 I felt the need to finally over come the
25 year old addiction to cigarettes, and I found your tape among my
collection. I began by listening to your tape (just the "day" side) at work
and talking to my son about why I needed to quit. I then added Zyban to the
regimen - determined that I would not fail. I began to cut down and then on
April 1, 1998 I quit. I am still quit - I even had to move home and my Mom
smokes heavily - I am still quit and cannot stand the thought of smoking
again. The tape, continues its journey, and is getting more use. A co-worker
and her husband made the decision to quit on 1/1/00 and are happily using the
tape. They are now on their 5th day of freedom. I am so glad I got to say
