The AudioStrobe® decoder circuit included in the Procyon, Sirius and Proteus systems detects a special, inaudible signal encoded on compact discs. This signal drives the LightFrames directly, allowing precise synchronization between the audio and the light show. AudioStrobe was developed by Andrzej Slawinski of AudioStrobe GMBH, Germany.
